Did everyone have a good Halloween? This was the first year that I haven’t dressed up for the holiday…I was bummed that I didn’t make a fun costume and will definitely be dressing up next year! I love dressing up!! 🙂
Lately, I have been in a little bit of a workout rut. I recently moved back to my hometown and left a gym behind that I absolutely loved. The gym that I joined in AZ was amazing…the type of place that you love going to because you feel good as soon as you walk in the door. I haven’t found my workout niche again since I left (almost 5 months ago!!!). I have still been getting in daily workouts by walking/running with my mom and other friends and going to zumba classes, but I am ready to get back in the gym. Although views like this definitely make working out outside amazing!
So, today I joined a new gym and look forward to starting a new workout routine. It’s a perfect time to get a gym membership because the weather is going to take a drastic turn for the worse one day VERY soon! And, working out outside will not be very enjoyable. I’m so excited to try new workout classes and attend classes that I used to go to all the time.
I think it’s so important to mix things up when it comes to working out. Even though I missed my normal gym workouts and workout classes, I think it was a great change of pace for my body. It felt great to not stress about workouts and focus on getting outside while bonding with friends and family instead.
Anybody else go through different workout phases?? I think it’s very common because doing the same routine every day can get boring REALLY fast! How do you all get out of workout ruts and get your booties back in gear??
